A friend of mine is thinking of buying a truck. It is a 2005 QC 4x4 short box cummins with an auto. We are going to go look/buy this truck on Friday afternoon. It will be his first diesel. What should we look for/at on this truck to help make the decision. I know it has a edge juice/att. and some aftermarket wheels and tires. The truck looks really clean in the pictures. It looks like the owner takes good care of his truck. The truck has under 80,000 miles on it. It don't have a 5th wheel or goosneck. All he did was pull a boat. Thanks,

 

I'd make sure the steering is working like it should (without clunking and whatnot). I would also ask for any records he has like ball joint replacement, fluid changes, etc. to get an idea how he cared for the truck while he had it.
