What kinda fluid goes in the transfer case?

What kinda fluid goes in the transfer case?
ATF +4? Or is it something else?

ATF+4 is what's called for.

yup same thing your putting into your tranny goes in the T-Case. i want to say it was like 3 quarts to hit the edge of the fill hole?

Yeah the factory didn't fill it up all the way I discovered. Just a tad low, I'm sure it's safe though.

If I recall correctly the book says 2 quarts, but it takes a bit more than that to get it all the way to the fill hole...

10mm hex for the plug on the t-case. I think the G takes 14mm and the NV took 17mm.

Some Wal-Marts carry Mopar ATF.
