what kind of oil do you run in your truck
ESSO 10W-30 HD petroleum oil during break-in period, then Amsoil Series 3000 Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil. Already have Amsoil products in my diffs, manual tranny and transfer case.

What Oil
I am running Amsoil 15W-40 with the dual bypass filter system. AO SG 75W-140 in the rear, amsoil 75W-90 in the front and AO Atf+4 in the xfer case. Still running OEM fill in the 6spd.
I Have used these oils in all of my vehicles for close to 20 years. I run 1 year 25K change intervals on the gassers when running only a FF filter and about 50K when running the dual bypass. I hate changing oil! By the way when I pull a valve cover the engines are very clean!
