Re:What Gears are best?

I think you may have a good point Doug, I don't want to limit myself down the road and maybe in that sense it is wise to go with the 4.10's. I was at a Dodge dealer today and road tested a qc drw 3500 stick for the first time...very interesting...it will take time to get used to the lower RPM but it was neat! The only hurdle for me right now is finances. Dodges finacing rates are only so-so right now and unfortunately that only applies to "in stock vehicles" In my area it seems the only in stock vehicles are 4x4's with FULL load and 3.73's. I have nothing against 4x4's but I don't believe I would benefit from this feature and again it is cheaper to get a 4x2. I am probably going to hold off the 2003's and see what '04's come in and what incentives they have? The 2 dealers I have gone to have basically stated that if I special order I will be financing at around 8%. I haven't considered leasing but financially i may have to! Either way I need a new tow vehicle and it doesn't make sense to buy anything but a newer CTD still under warranty. So anyways to sum up the story..it may just depend what the dealers in my area have for inventory when the financing deals come out and whn the 04's come in!
