What are the correct alignment specs for a 3rd gen ?

I've been to dealer, got charged $ 59 for a "they are still within spec" check.
I am not happy with results, truck pulls a,little to right and steering is too light.
Front end is all new, including PSC reinforcement bracket.

just air up the tire Better than having to deal with a dodge service department IMO

Have you thought about taking it to schwabbies?

im not sure how much it is pulling but the road crown will cause it to go to the right drive in the oppisite lane and see if it pulls to the left

Guys, I really appreciate the effort to help, but come on...

All I need to know if somebody has the specs for correct alignment.

Really, the "specs" are just about useless....and the range of "in spec" is even more so on these trucks. Caster is extremely important on the front of these 4x4's yet it is just about completely overlooked. The "in spec" range is 0* - 2*.....come awn?!?! First off, 2* isn't enough and the suggested in spec range is only 0* - 2*. I run my caster at roughly 3.5* - the most I can get out of the lower control arm cams which is pathetic. I think all the dealers care about is balljoint life....hence the very limited caster. More caster = reduced bump steer and a stronger return to center action of the steering. This really helps these trucks track straight. All you have to do is drive one with 0* and then drive one with 3.5*.....there isn't really a comparison.

Since there is no simple way to effectively adjust camber (offset balljoint sleeves ), you can rule that out and just make sure the alignment shop puts the toe "in spec" and just tell them to crank up the caster as far as it will go - you might get 4* but I doubt it. It will probably be a little less. My limited experience with alignment shops is that the tech will NOT do what you ask them to do and since many of them don't really know what they are doing, will just assume you don't either at which point they will only do what the computer tells them to do which simply means they will make sure the alignment is with in the accepatable "in spec" range. If you are lucky enough to find an alignment tech that is versed in a bit of theory and is capable of rationalizing beyond what the alignment computer tells him to do, then you are good to go.....good luck with that!

I bought the moog ball joints that have the adjustable uppers, are those bad? Can I adjust camber off them?

i set my castor full forward and my tow-in as close to even while erring on the side of towed-in. i usually end up with 1/16th or less tow-in or keep trying until i do. i like 1/32nd. can take a few trys before i get it where i want it. if i hit 1/16th and the truck steers nice.... i'll let it ride. i like less though for tire wear and fuel mileage.

anything more than 1/16th and i start to notice funky tire wear. with my tires anyway.
