well if the truck has been in the shop as you state a dozen or so times for the same problem, then it should be a good canidate for the lemon law......have you consulted an attorney about this...?

the best thing you can do is arm yourself with all the info about the lemon law and just lay it out to the service manager a nicely as you can. if that doesnt get you anywhere then bring in some reienforcement with your attorney and see what happens!

hope that you get this all squared away and back to work with problem-free truck again

Yes the dealership is the problem. They told chrysler there are no problems and making me look like a stupid trouble maker. I had another dealership look at it and they found the problems. Chrysler wants the starting dealership to fix the truck. Its setting over there now with the tranny burned out and they are still trying to find a problem.

If you have all your service invoices then contact chrysler and explain to them what you have been going through and that the original dealer is not up to par. Hope your troubles get worked out

I have been following your story since the start and I can tell you my temper would become an issue. So if you are still calm while they are giving you some more bs to chew on then you are a better man than me

never had that bad of experiences with a dealer. i would have lost it along time ago.

had a dealer one time sell me a F350 powerchoke 4x4 and a warranty, truck came with a lift kit already installed. then a year or so one of the front hubs goes out so i get it towed to the dealer. they try to tell me that its the lift that made it go out and it wasnt covered. So i talked to the manager and told him that this was the way i bought it. called another dealer and they said it should be covered and they would fix it, but I didnt want to pay another wrecker to tow it again. Got back on the phone with the dealer that had my truck and let that SOB have it and I mean good. i called him all kinds of stuff, which i shouldnt have done because i am not usually like that. Needless to say the truck was covered under warranty with no other questions asked.

Pretty much so I think. Some people have had good luck with them though. I have had alot of vehicles and never had any problems until this one. I guess I was due. I called Chrysler again to see what I could get done. It looks like I am marked a trouble making nut because they will not help at all and want give me anyone to talk with that can. They said work with the dealership and the dealership has said to call Chrysler. So I am totally screwed.

Solar Exp is correct. . .when some ding dong hit my last dodge it was hunting season. . . .I managed to rent a 1500 Hemi from them for a fair price, was happpy that my trailer was already at the lease the 1500 would have had a hek of a time. . . Had to give it a pretty good wash before returning it to get the red stuff out of the bed though. . .

I tow heavier than most on this site and I wish I had a 6speed with a dual disk clutch...most times. The stock clutch won't allow you to tow heavy reliabley forever either. I hear that some people are dropping Eaton Fullers....10 to 18speed into these trucks now. I'd love to hear about that conversion. The stock auto tranny will not tow very heavy for long at anything over stock power. I made it to 100k but then it was trashed. In reverse it is even worse. My built tranny tows anything and runs cool. For backing loaded I use 4LO. ks

Ask the dealer politely for the number to the Dodge Factory rep. assigned to that area. Call the rep and explain that this issue is hurting your livelyhood and that you have lost confidence in the dealer to correct it in a timely manner.

You won't get anywhere with the dealer - been there...done that.

I've never installed a pyro - is there any other options besides drilling/tapping?

This is a horror story I want to avoid like the plague.

Sorry bout' your turbo man , but thanks for posting - maybe you'll save someone else's turbo.
