2005 with the brute force intake and straight pipe, everything else is stock.

tonite when getting on it pretty heavy and it shifting from second to third, something makes a weird " shuttering" noise. Seems like it is coming from the turbo?

it happened when i would hammer it, then let off when it was shifting between second and third gear (might of been third to fourth gear)

anyone ever experience this?

 

Turbo bark. Not good for your turbo. All the boost you built when you were hammering on the throttle and then suddenly back off has to go somewhere and unfortunately it is back through your turbo. You need to let off the throttle a little more gently or get a turbo guard.

 

While up shifting bang the next gear and keep the boost up!! Faster shifting and less clutch time should do the trick. When down shifting roll out of the throttle slower.
