Weird, Truck acting up again

Hey guys, heres my following problem:
Last year, before adjusting my valves my truck ran weird, when i was on constant but light throttle the truck sometimes opened up like a bat out of Heck, it felt like i had 6 more pistons in the truck. but as soon as i would let go of the throttle it would stop. it only happend to me a few times. seems like it does it with the truck being under 180 degrees, even did it with the EDGE off.
So after my adjustment of the valves it ran fine, but now 6 months later it started to do the same thing again. I only probably put 10k at the most more miles on the truck.
DO you think i have a bad injector? maybe something clogging the rails?I think it might be a fuel issue, (yes new filters on the FASS) I just hope the truck ran like that all the time when it acted up. makes me feel like im not getting the full power out of my truck when its driving "normal"
I have 130k on the clock as of now.

Can someone give some advice?
Nick

What year? APP sensor possibly, any oil in the turbo outlet hose? Possible turbo seal then.

Sorry, i thought i had my signiture filled out.
its a early 04, not the HO cummins
What do you mean by APP sensor?
Ill have to check so see if there is oil in the outlet but you might be right about this turbo.....
Your talking about the seal on the turbo, which side of the turbo? manifold or exhaust pipe?
Thank you BigIron

Manifold side if oil is leaking past the seal then oil will get into the intercooler and then into the intake. Pull the hose and see if any oil is present. APP sensor is throttle position sensor.

ok, i checked it, no oil in the intake or intercooler. i make out at 32psi with my turbo now, (stock) with the edge turned all the way up.
Is there anyway to check the Apps without a scanner?
any other ideas?
Thank you
Nick
