Im not sure on other years but the 06 and 07 dont have the throttle cable,we have a motor actuator controlled by the computer,from what ive been told(dodge tranny tech,independent trannt guy )the programming for the torque curve is what is wrong,I bought a transgo shift kit,didnt help,then i bought a bd diesel valve body,didnt help.I then bought a tranny controler from dtt and it helped about 90% of the problem.It goes into the shop monday for a torque converter and to have the vb pressures adjusted and this will hopefully cure the rest

 

so does the 03's have the TV cable?

if so the I would be curious to find out how you adjust it properly!

 

not sure what a tv cable is, but tranny guy did not put a cable that goes from tranny to motor on properly. he explained it like this to me. - cable is in a hard spot to get at on motor, cable was sitting on nuckle not over it as it shouldve been. he fixed it and that cured my 1 2 1 2 shift prob

 

Dodge knows that 2nd gear bands r coming out of adjustment on a regular basis and are fixing them under the 7/70 warranty. My truck is at dealer now because of the bands needing adjustment. Not sure is this is the same problem that he is speaking of. But 2nd gear is a know problem on the 04-05 trucks
