Question weird shifting into high gear

I have 38000 miles on 04 4x4 auto

I don't pull hardly at all, a 16' car trailer full of brush couple times in summer

When it goes into high gear it sometimes seems to skip and make a weird noise seems to be happening more often

Dealer service with all fluids at 30K

any clue what this is

Tranny is warranteed to 100K right??

no trannny is 3/36, unless that new 7/70 thing applies. Did you tell the dealer this when he didn the fluid service. I would dig into this if I were you.

Tranies are 7/70 powertrain. Is the noise/skip hapening when the torque converter is locking up? I would imagine so. It sounds as if your torque converter is headed south. Real comon problem with the old 47re tranies of the 2nd gen trucks. Not imposible to have happen on the new 48re.
