Water pump life??

How many miles is everyone getting out of their water pumps before they need replacing?

Alternately, if it's still going strong, how many miles do you have on it?

My 6.7 did app. 30 months/44k miles before going bad. Not very impressive in my book...

Thanks for the reply. I've got 99,000 miles on mine, and was contemplating having it replaced for preventative maintenance.

Had 220,000 miles on mine when I replaced it, just for my peace of mind.

Mine made it 120,000 before it went, I was 5 hours away from the house and all tools!!! Luckily it's easy to change, found a 15mm in the box and made it work!!

For the $40 the pump costs I'll be adding one onto my next Genos order. I'll put it in the box next to the #4 fuel line.
