Water pump

Replaced the water pump today what a PIA Worked 6 yes 6 hours trying to get bottom screw in. Is it just me or are others having the same problem

Takes about a half hour.

Remove the air filter box and you can get right in.

When I replaced my pump I had a little trouble getting the second bolt to go in but it didn't take 6 hours, probably only about 15 minutes.

Took about an hour for me, hardest part was figuring the correct way to maneuver the old water pump to get it out from the little bit of space between the front of the engine and the fan shield.

Huh. Took mine to the dealer, it was covered under the 100K Cummins warranty. 100 bucks, and they flushed and re-filled my coolant...
