Water in Fuel ??

We have had some flooding here in the last couple of weeks and I am concerned that I may get water in my fuel.

I am draining the water separator every 2nd day and have yet to find any water yet. BUT i am travelling to some rather remote areas in the next few days that were hit with some exterme flooding last week. Is there an easy way to check for water in the fuel tank ? I am concerned that if I get a batch of really bad diesel (lots of water), the injectors will be destroyed before I see it in the separator !!

Hoping someone knows how to dip the tank or something to check for water...

unless you are driving in 4+ feet of water or pouring it in your fuel tank I don't think you have to much to worry about. Just make sure that where you fuel up at wasn't under water (is under water)

I'd fill up at stations further away from the river(s), and preferably on higher ground.
