Warn premium to Dynaloc hubs
I had an incident and damaged one of my hubs. Then I lost front drive and blocked traffic in the snow on Carson pass last week. Slid sideways, got stuck, the whole deal. All my fault, of course.
So I decided to get the Dynaloc hubs as a replacement to the Warn hubs.
They're nice and sturdy with a more positive engagement that "defaults" to engaged instead of having two competing springs held in with snap rings. Plus they stick out about 1/2 inch less than the Warns. They have a very stiff engagement **** though and I ended up making a little tool to turn them.
Spent most of the day today with the hubs, repacking bearings and putting on new pads.
