Dynatrac Dynaloc tarnish problem

Not too long ago, I purchased the Dynatrac free spins with the Dynaloc hubs. Recently the outer ring (I think it's made out of aluminum) started oxidizing. It looks horrible even from far away. Is anyone else having the same problem? I called Dynatrac, but they weren't much help. I paid extra for the dynalocs. If I had known about this problem I would've stayed with the Warn locking hubs that come with the kit.

I have the Warn hubs on mine and they're fine. They do seem to have a clear coat or something sprayed on them.

Just take it out in the mud and you won't even see the tarnish.

I can't believe I didn't think of that.

Not what you want to hear, but polish them up, clean with acetone and clear coat. Raw aluminum will tarnish.

My buddy's are the same way. He even had to sand, primer and paint the shaft due to cheap paint.
