Wants to run away

Hey guys , The 2005 has developed a cold problem ... usually happens with in the first 5 mins of driving the truck .
You will come to a stop and the truck seems to want to take off like you were braking and giving it a little throttle ... just holding the brake and let it run it will take off to about 1200 and then drop right back to normal idle ... like its lurching for a second .
Usually only does it once and its fine after it warms up . I did put some 2 stroke and Diesel Kleen and ran one tank of fuel and have not seen a change .
Trucks has no codes ... maybe a FCA ?

Any thoughts on this would be great .

Thanks guys

Does the same thing happen in reverse? Engage a gear and it wants to pull thru the brakes while engine revs?

Likely the TC in the trans is starting to go bad. Time to start pricing a replacement before it sheds metail into the trans and cooler system.

Dodge just did the trans 15k ago ... hummm

I did a first buyer transfer and I think the trans would have been covered up to 30k I think .
I bought the truck with just under 70k ... not sure if dodge warranty covers 10k on that box from the time of transfer ?

Don't know about the warranty but if they rebuilt the trans with stock parts its an even better chance the TC is the root problem.

Tryin to convince them an intermittent problem ir warrantable maybe be a forlorn hope.
