Vision 19.5 Wheels
Vision 19.5 Wheels
I am considering going with the 19.5 Vision 81 wheels. I am concerned, however, with the fact that they have no offset. I believe the OEM offset for my vehicle is approximately 1 3/4 inches. Does anyone have an opinion on how no offset will affect performance, tire wear, or bearing wear or any other issues I am not aware of. I know Rickson makes a 19.5 wheel that has the factory offset but only in steel and I want to keep the weight down. I don't know of any other manufacturer of wheels for Single Rear Wheel vehicles. Thanks
I've been running my Vision wheels for about 65K miles and haven't had any problems at all. I think the zero offset is a perfect fit on my '05. The ride and handling are amazing as long as there is some weight in the bed. As an added plus, the tires are wearing like iron.
As far as the weight... most 19.5" tires are in the 75 lb. each range so I wouldn't let a 12 lb. difference in the weight of a wheel be the deciding factor.
Cheers
