19.5 Vision wheels

I just bought 19.5 inch Vision Wheels for my 1998 1/2 2500. With the Michelin XDE-MS they make a great combo and allow me a wider margin of safty when hauling my truck camper.

I would like to transfer them to a new truck, a 2005 or 2006 3500 SRW. I am told they will fit but that the offset is different and they will stick out further on the new truck - past the fenders.

I thought I would add a set of fender flares to accomidate the wheel tire combo. Has anyone done this or have an opinion?

How much more offset is there from the 2nd gen wheels to the 3rd gens? If its an inch more or less, it'll stick out an inch more or less.

Maybe if you included your location, you might be able to find someone nearby who has a 3rd gen and who would like to see what they look like on it.

How much did the Vision's/tires set you back?

I live in Tucson. I was told they will stick out of fender 2 inches. I was wondering if anyone had put the wheels from the 2nd generation trucks to the 3rd generaltion.

They cost 200 each from Discount tire. Tires come in a variety of cost/sizes.
