After Leveling kit was installed (1.5 inch) at about 2000 miles my truck vibed at about 1200 to 1600 rpm , Pedals ,seats ,floor ,then smooth to 85 mph. Did not think it could be the kit or drive angles because of the small amount of lift, only 1.5 in 0r 2 in tops. We checked everthing on install , also exaust and tires , could not shake the Vib. Finally we removed the new 2 inch taller front coils and went back to stock . Now the truck runs smooth as silk from idle on up to 2500 rpm in all gears. We now have taken the rest of the after market suspension off and back to stock. I have done lifts on trucks before , can anyone explain why such a problem with pinion angles on this truck with a small 1.5 inch difference . Also why the vib did not continue through to higher rpm and speeds as it does with bad driveline angles? Love the truck vib free !

Truck specs . 2005 cummins dually 6spd. 5th wheel kore suspension ( not anymore) and Rip Rook pipes.

 

Anyone else had this happen with level kit. Is there a way to correct it with kit on . I like the improved ride of kore. Thanks

Was your vib passing through 1400 to 1600 rpm on accel. then smooth ? Who knows whats up with all these vibs. I guess its just part of having a cummins .
