Universal Joints
I did all of mine not too long ago, and put spicer greasables in the rear and front driveshafts. The '06 axleshafts did not have high quality greasable joints available-as a matter of fact, the buddy of mine who works at a driveline shop who got me the u joints said that the quality of the greasable u joints available for the front axleshafts were so far below the quality of the factory joint that he wouldn't even sell them to me. However, he said all the other greasable joints for the driveshafts were far BETTER in quality than the factory joints, so that's what I went with.
The only plus that I can see to the sealed-for-life joint (besides no maintenance) is that theoretically, it is stronger, since it doesn't have a grease channel drilled through the center of it. I don't know if that makes a difference in real life though.

I have replaced many AAM joints on 3rd gen trucks with sealed Spicer joints, and have never had to deal with a u-joint problem or maintenance again.
I was driving home and in some traffic. I happened to be in the left lane near the barrier in the median and heard a clunking noise. When I got home I got under the truck and started looking for something loose and found that I could move the drivers side ujoint about 1/32" by hand. Passenger side is still tight.
