Ulsd Give Me The Scoop!

What is the deal with this new fuel, if I ran it in my 06 would it damage anything. I have seen some warning at the shell stations saying that the fuel is not good for certain years and something about highway vehicles, I dont know any info is all good.

The new fuel is safe to run in any diesel motor tagged for highway use. The older diesels have been having a problem with their seals drying up running this new formula, as it is not as lubricating as LSD. I run it in my truck with a Qt of Power Service Silver, and have had no problems.

Just run an additive to make up for the lowered lubricity of the ULSD and I think everything will be fine, time will tell for all of us though.

As far as lubricity for the CR trucks, I'am not going to worry about it. I even gained some fuel mileage this winter useing ULSD.

Heck, this is all I can find period. No LSD to be found. LSD sure runs better than this ULSD crap.
