Ujoint's
Ujoint's
gettin a loud sqeel at about 10mph and lower from the driveshaft my buddy at work says it's the ujoint's crawled under there after work today and there's no play just wonder if anybody else has delt with this
Bad u-joints will not always have play , there may be pressure on the drive train locking up a lose joint , get all wheels of ground to see if there lose .
It could the u-joints , but until you find it , it could be a few things , just have to look with all wheels off ground and look for lose parts , anything that moves could be making sounds , but more often than not , squealing may be wheel bearings , brakes , but hard to say with out hearing , or getting more description .

i have replaced u joints like 5 times so far, never had one with play, they all dried up and rollers were no good.doesn't seem to matter if its a grease type or sealed, they don't seem to last, i do how ever put alot of miles on my truck.
