U/Joints/Part numbers?
03 4x4 NV5600 what are the correct part numbers for driveshaft U/joints that don't take any mods to fit and are greaseable? Any part numbers or any from Rock Auto parts etc.

Sorry, I can't help with numbers but I stand by Spicer non-greasable joints. They seem to outlast anything I have used on any of my old trucks. I haven't had any problems with these yet.

Hounddog, Spicer makes excellent U-joints. Some are greaseable and some are not. Normally Spicer joints are not greasable because the hole in the joint where the zerk fitting is weakens the joint. I have used them in the past with great results also. Any driveline shop should have what you need, if you don't have one in your area I can get the part numbers from the driveline shop I have used in Savannah. One thing that helps if you take the driveshaft to a driveline shop is they can re-balance the shaft after the replacement. It will cure alot of vibration issues that can occur after a joint replacement. It used to happen alot on GM shafts due to the plastic keeper you had to melt out with a torch or people that would beat them out instead of pressing them out. Go figure? As you know it is a 2 piece unit so they would have to deal with the carrier bearing. Just mark the shaft with relation on how it comes off the diff. and also write down the spacer arrangement on the carrier bearing. Once that is done, take it off & putter on to the driveline shop. Hope this answers all of your questions
