U-Joints...Difficult to replace ?

Howdy
I'm having my ball joints replaced soon. Going with Dynatracs.
Question: While doing this and since the axle shafts have to be
removed I was thinking this would be a great time to replace the
stock U-Joints. 70K miles on the truck.

How difficult is this to do ? Any special tools ?
What type of U Joints should I order ?

Thank you

Heat is a must if they have never been change before as the caps are glued in from the factory.

dropping out the ujoints is a breeze. If you can get your hands on a ball joint press/u joint press-there is almost no need for heat or hammers.

I just did mine, and they were much simpler than removing the hub bearing.

My '03 had the clips and not the plastic. Was easy to change.
