does any one run CTM u joints in their dodge, and if so , whats the part number for these trucks?
i am looking for some thing better then the factory since i seem to be replacing u joints every 4 or 5 months.thanks

because they are made for low speed use. alot of high speed use with these joints and you will be rebuilding them all the time. at the price of the joint and the rebuild kit, its pointless. the same goes for the ox joints
They are fine for High speed use, they are on many race cars.
But you have to keep them greased.
Your normal u-joints brake down because of lack of grease after 30-60k.
If you only grease a CTM once it will only last 5-6k in high speed.
They also don't make one to fit the dodge, but if you are snapping the u-joints, call up CTM, Jack will make them for you. You just might not like the price.

I have CTMs in my Jeep. This is trailered to trails and hardly ever on the road. The reason CTMs would not be ideal for a DD is they do not have roller bearings in the caps, they have bushings. You also need to use them in alloy axle shafts. CTMs will egg out the ears in stock shafts. Are you snapping u-joints/ and taking out the ears on the shafts? Or are they some how wearing out in that short of a time. Something doesnt seem right.
