U joints and Center Carrier

I just ordered 3 Precision 351A U joints for the rear shaft and wondering if I should also replace the carrier bearing. The truck has almost 52000 miles and one joint failed me about 20k ago. It stranded me on a camping trip and now I worry about them everytime I travel out of state with the 5th wheel.

After the dealer fixed the center joint I developed a vibration that only happens at certain speeds/RPM. I think maybe they got the driveshaft 180 out of sync. Is the carrier bearing easy to do and where is a good sorce to get one?

Thanks
John

I have to agree with that. I did all three u-joints for my rear, I should have changed the carrier bearing at the same time. I haven't had a problen with it though.
