turning up idle
The 3rd gen is not drive by wire. The throttle is computer controlled. There isn't a mechanical adjustment for idle RPM that I am aware of. You can get the high idle feature enabled, but that has nothing to do with the standard 750rpm idle and enabling it varies depending on whether you have a 6sp or auto.
You may be able to do a TPS adjustment, but I have read that messing with that is a delicate procedure that should only be done by an experienced mechanic. beyond that, I can't help much.
