I put my truck on a scanner last night. I had it in park with engine running I revved engine up to 2200-2400 and turbo pressure which was at 14.6 at idle climbed to top 17.6 I looked at wategate seems to be rusted pretty good. turbo wheel has no play and pretty clean. My guess is bad wastegate accuator. am I guessing right or throwing money at wrong place. I did put a pry bar to it and it wouldn't move. Any thoughts

 

you are not doing something correctly you will have 0 psi at idle and maybe 0.5 psi at 2400. only under load will you get manifold pressure. hook the scanner up and drive it pulling a load, you should see 30 psi. i do not know what some of the mods are on your truck but i thought the rokktech was a timing advance device on the ring tone , if it is and with that triple dog your destined for some broke rings. you need to take that junk off and get a smarty jr. what problems are you having.
