turbo problem

just as i get my truck running, my turbo is giving me problems. i have significant shaft play up and down. have to get it fixed. mean while, i had to run the hx40 downpipe so therefore my stock turbo wont work. i have a stock turbo off a early 04 cummins. do you know if that will work with the hx40? Anyone know about the cost to fix my sb66?

I don't think it will work with the hx-40 (different flange on the downpipe).

You should be able to get your turbo rebuilt for $2-400 depending on what damage it may have caused. I would call and see.

A full rebuild on my 06' was right at $750 for everything.
