TSB's

How do you get the dealers to do the TSB's if your truck is out of warrenty. 2nd owner. I have 90700 miles on my 03 and I told them to do it and they didnt. Can anyone get it done or is this only a warrenty thing.

a TSB is NOT a recall
What I am saying is the dealer does not HAVE to do a TSB like they do the Recalls

yeah, if you are past 36k they charge you...a TSB is a problem enough trucks have had to give the dealership mechanics a heads up when diagnosing.

it doesn't mean your truck has been effected. If you had your truck run through for every TSB it would cost mucho $$$$ but it would be nice to have done

I beg to differ on this issue...I think that if a TSB comes out on a vehicle, the dealership should HAVE to fix it whether there is an existing warranty or not. My truck is currently at the dealer getting the TSB for the towing package done and although I am under warranty, what would happen if they DIDN'T fix the problem and you were towing 10K and all of a sudden your trailer lost power and you wrecked and were seriously injured or killed somebody? I think that to cover themselves in a lawsuit, they should at least ATTEMPT to fix the problem.

TSBs are abused by Chrysler. They pretty much put every thing under a TSB to save money.
Some of the issues such as what was just described and PS pump issues should have been a Recall. Yet they are only TSBs.
