The truck has 131k. When was the last tranny service? Drop the pan and have a look at the fluid and the metal mush in there. Chances are there are metal pieces in there too.

I have a nv5600 and put a new fca in and it still revs funny. I also picked up another 03 qcsb 2500 nv5600 and it does the same thing too :s could it be prv? cascade overflow?
