Unhappy Truck shaking...

While sitting waiting for the green light, the truck shakes a little enough to be noticed. I never felt this 'rocking' before. Any ideas? Should I be concern? Thanks.

Did it start shortly after refueling. Could be bad fuel. See what happens with the next tankful.

This happened to my truck a couple times before. I can't figure out why though. The first time was a while back...But the second time was about a week ago...

I remember one time it happened right after I did a hard acceleration to pass someone, and the RPMs shot up to about 2800 to 2900 or so, before I shifted up. Then when I had to stop at a light, the truck started idling a little rough...enough to shake the truck a little. It's not a violent shake, but enough to feel it in the seat and entire truck. I drove it about another mile or two and got home and let it idle and the shake was still there.
I cut it off and went inside...I had to leave an hour later, so I started her up and the shake was gone.

Since it goes away, I don't think it's a big deal, but who knows....

My truck only has about 1800 miles on it now...

Mine does this off and on has been like this since new. Worse if I use the exhaust brake for a long hill/load or warming up/extended idle. It will smooth out right away sometimes and other times feels like it is hitting on 5. I'm not gonna worry about it unless it stalls or pukes out in the street. Then it'll burn where it quits.

Mine did the same thing when idleing for more than a couple of mins after driving for a while, I didn't worry too much about it until it started dying when slowing for a stop light or in a speed zone.
It was spooky when it did that hauling a trailer & losing powersteering & brakes at 50mph!!

I took it in to my dealer & they replaced the injector pump, problem solved!

I would bet it was the lift pump and not the injector pump, but have been wrong before. Generally the lift pump would not be a problem idleing though.

They checked the lift pump first & it was working correctly.
They unhooked it & let it pump into a graduated container, it was pumping up to (& beyond) specs.

Mine did it today for the first time. I drove 20 miles to my brother's house with no problems. Picked him up, started the truck and it was shaking a little but the shake went away when I was moving. 15 miles later when I got home it was gone......

Well I found out why mine was doing it..
I normally don't go below 1/4 tank of fuel before refueling. I had let the needle get to almost the 1/8th tank mark. This is when I started getting the shaking yesterday. Today I drive to the dump which is about 5 miles away and as I am almost to the dump, the engine starts surging and losing power. I let off the accelerator and it seems fine. I dumped my junk and then the truck just died! First thing I did is pull off the EZ box. That didn't help. I could get the truck to idle(poorly) but I couldn't move it without it dying. I went to drain the water/fuel seperator and almost nothing comes out. I turn the key on and I can hear the pump pumping. Turns out the guage is reading incorrectly and I was out of fuel!
To top things off, after my buddy shows up in his CTD and we go get fuel, I finally get it started and somehow I lock the keys in the truck while it's running!! Now we had to drive back to my house to get my other keys and drive all the way back to the dump!!
On another note, we drag raced on the way home and he kicked my butt without the EZ box hooked up and he drives a bone stock 01 SO CTD. I think my bigger tires made a big difference. I plugged the box back in and we raced again and I got him this time but I'll admit it wasn't by much... His truck is pretty fast for some reason. It was faster than my 98.5 CTD which had a EZ box on it too......
