Truck Died (momentarily)
Long story short I was headed home on the highway; about 75 MPH with an empty trailer.
I thought I heard a small "pop" and then the check engine light came on. I threw it in neutral and realized the engine was dead. I got it pulled over and pulled the engine codes: I got P2146 and P2149. From there the truck fired right up and drove home without any other problems.
From what I could find it sounds like the problem is with the wiring under the valve cover going to the injectors. I will check out the plugs tomorrow but just wanted to ask for suggestions. The truck is getting loaned out to my brother and his family for a week and I am hoping it doesn't give them any problems.
Thanks for any suggestions.
