At those temps...read sig. my heaters stay on 24/7 mine makes a little noise for a bit and the exhaust is very visible of course...but compared to the older rigs I've had/driven it starts like a champ....Your in Chicago...as a ex long haul trucker, been there, there is no way I would live there, your winters are to cold for me...we have a dry cold(relatively), today its 30 below with around 10% humidity and no wind, which makes it quite comfortable
