I have purchased my first Dodge last week. I was convinced by neighbor after hating my Ford. I bought 2003 3500 DRW 4x4 QC w/80K ( I think I got the lingo correct). I knew it had troubles when I bought it. The tranny does not feel like it is slipping. Under full throttle acceleration it will not shift to 2nd gear. When in 2nd gear and down shifting it goes in to a nutral feel and will not accelerate. I have been told it could be in the computer or the TPS or the tranny is shot. Does any one have suggestions?

 

Not sure there. I have herd of several different problems on these trannies. I myself have a bunch.
