Transmission shops/advice

Hello,

I have a 2005 2500 4x4 with 125,000 mi that I feel is ready for a transmission rebuild. It shows some signs of slipping in 2-3 gear and hunts severely during slow speed accelerations. I have a BD Diesel valve body and deep tranny pan, other than that the tranny is stock. I do have a Smarty Tuner on the truck also.
Maybe I'm wrong about the need for a rebuild as there are a few electrical issues present such as the power door locks will act up and lock the driver door when the other doors unlock via the remote entry and vice versa (door switch will produce the same results), also the windshield wipers started to loose their intermittent feature.

I think it would be best to take it to a reputable transmission shop for diagnosis which is easier said than done. I live in Orange County CA. does anyone know where there is a good, honest shop that deals in diesels?
Also if anyone has had similar electrical issues and found a solution any help would be greatly appreciated, the door locks are the absolute worst!

Thanks is advance, Bill
