Can anyone recommend a good transmission shop in the Montgomery Alabama area? My tranny just shat itself at 89000 miles...very frustrating. I am military and move around so I have not found such a shop in this area yet. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I was just reading in another post "Need a reliable replacement for a 48RE" and they said A1 Transmission did a good job for him. I believe it is a national chain which carries a warranty coast-coast. You might want to try them.

I plan on going with a Goerend when the time comes unless I can work something out with TRE on getting one shipped to me. Hope this helps!

 

Thx for the info...it ended up being something else and NOT transmission failure so that is good news!
