So let me get this strait the regular warranty is good till 70K on the tranny, right?

Im so confused, they said that that was with an extended warranty.

 

Go to www.dodge.com and type in "warranty" in the search box and read it for yourself.

 

i would be very angry. they should cover the **** thing. they should have found it when they were inspecting the truck over. id threaten to call BBB and or get alawyers writing. if there was a way to transfer the warranty even for a fee, they should have told you that (maybe not legally but morally) i just dont get how these **** dealers can risk all the bad publicity!

yup just found the transferable warranty not only on my window sticker but in the sales brochoure which clearly say "Your dodge dealer is behind you for seven years or 70,000 miles protecting the hardest-working parts of your dodge vehicle_ the engine and transmission. This limited warranty is transferable to the second ownerof your Ram with a fee. A deductibleapplies. Ask your dealer for a copy. SRT_10 is only covered by our 3 year/ 36,000 mile warranty."

Then right under is, "the Cummins 600 turbo diesel for Dodge Ram Heavy Duty is protected by a seperate Diesel engine Limited Warranty, covering the engine for 7 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. See your Dodge dealer for complete details."

page 25 of the2005 brochure which they should stillhave lying around. tell them b@stards to let you sse it then use it against em. call headquarters if they continue to weasel.
