Transfer Case Seal

Has anybody else had the rear extension housing seal on their transfer case go bad? Mine is dryrotted and cracked almost all the way around causing fluid to leak out. I'm probably just going to replace the part myself for 30 bucks rather than take it in and try to get it replaced under warranty. My truck only has about 33K miles on it.

mine leaked after 5000 km, along with the tranny input seal and rear main seal. the tranny and transfer case has been fixed, still waiting to get the rear main. Get the dealer to do it that is what the warrenty is for.

Yours looks exactly like mine. Fluid is sprayed against the exhaust just like that.
