Transfer case leak

I need some help fixing this leak. It seems to be coming from the rear output shaft as it is slung all over the underside bed, exhaust, the airdog, etc. I replaced the seal thinking that would solve my problems but did not. The yoke had no noticeable grooves or such at least nothing that would catch a finger nail.

So the question is, what else should I check. I need to check the vent line but I figured if thats plugged it would also leak else where. Can you get a speedy sleeve for the yoke because maybe I missed something there? Any other suggestions on where to look. I have seen other post on a compaignion? flange but I have no idea what that is.

Have you checked the level of the oil in the T case? If it is overfull, you may want to check the level of the oil in the transmission.

I had a leak at the output shaft of a xfer case once. It was leaking through a vent hole in the transmission/transfer case output shaft then flung all over the the friggin place. The vent hole runs through the center and out a hole through the yoke, see page 323 of the 2006 manual.

The correct fix is to replace the worn transmission/transfer case output
shaft but I ended up sealing the vent hole with a piece of chipboard and automotive silicone stuffed at the bottom.

There is also a plug on top of the output shaft that leaks. I clean area on the top really good. Then remove plug clean off any oil or dirt then run a bead of gray Mopar silicone around plug sealing edge of plug and reinstall. Leak fixed

Wow, thats really good to know, the repair I made was on an old 89 Cheve 4x4 that has almost 400k miles now but at the time had been leaking for years before I finally got to it.
