03 Ram

Bought it new in 03 for $29,000. Repairs: 61,000 miles, serpentine belt tensioner (Danco, free from them when I emailed) and belt. 265,000, fuel pump in tank. 312,000, had to replace factory batteries, 385,000 injectors, 439,000, transmission rebuilt. Computer at 457,000. Another fuel pump around 425.000. Starter at 481,000, alternator at 486,000. Currently 493,000, and I'm turning it over to my sister to tow her horse trailer, only because I bought a 450 with a 12 foot bed (headache rack, 24 feet of tool boxes) to use at work, and I have a 2018 Ram 1/2 ton Hemi for other stuff. 03 still runs great, turbo is original. Best vehicle I'veever owned. Ball joints and u-joints wear out and that's about all except changing oil and filter every 4500. Oil stays clean between changes. Unbelievable. I'd buy another one tomorrow new, if I could. Recently drove it across the Rockies to bring it to the east coast where my sister lives, 19.25 mpg at 75.
I am about to replace trans temp/pressure sensor because of very occasional warning lights. Is it hard to do? Should I get someone smarter to do it?
