Angry Tranny Slip from stop

My 05 with 30k is at the dealer for a worsening slip, from a stop rpm's increase but little forward movement, not everytime, but enough that I took it in. In two weeks they have replaced the soilenoid and servos in the tranny but still slipping. Only other mod is a jensen in-dash DVD, but problem did not begin just after install, maybe 2k miles, any ideas I can throw at the dealer? They really believe it is electrical.

How much of an increase till it moves? What rpm's can you get the converter to stall at?

When I dropped it off, after a 300 mile drive, 1st stop was like "normal" seat of the pants acceleration, next stop no go, same for getting to freeway speeds, and each gear, took about 5 miles to get to 75mph and to feel like the tranny was locked up... all of this with the BD off the truck ( did it with it on the truck too)

I'm wondering if it's not actually slipping, but starting out in 2nd or 3rd gear instead of first, which can give the sensation of slipping. If so, they are probably on the right track.

Pull U 2 ,yeah, the dealer did a full oil, lube, fuel, and tranny filters approx 3k ago, ( I knew I would be putting on some miles), it did not seem to make a difference when I pulled down into 1st and changed gears, if it is electrical what should they be looking for, while I'm looking at a new 07 6.7L

I would hope that they have done all the mechanical tests, they have had the truck for 2 weeks, I'm ready to tell them to start changing parts, and quick....

my truck did the same thing about half the time from dead stop until one day it would not move. it was the torque convertor.

mine just did the same thing, started to slip and wont hardle move then one day it just stop movin and they had to repalce the tc and rebuild that tranny. Edit part is I just got my truck back and its starting to slip again and it only has 3k since in the shop. So I'm just gonna drive it till it stops so they replace stuff vs rebuild it. I have same mods as u but never go over tow haul, and only pack 500lbs in the back everyday for 200miles. These trucks have a Edit tc and tranny imo, if they can't even handly 35's with 500 lbs in the back and 30hp more.

PG4x4, I agree, since I bought the truck used at 14k the shifting under part to 0% throttle has be very poor, I do pull a 10k# race trailer every other weekend with no BD installed, happy with the power but new going in the tranny and TC could be an issue, now I know, if mine does it again the a new 07 is on the way,did the dealer replace every part the could before the did the rebuild?.... I will also have all new electronics.
