Tranny Question and Help

So I was just playing around on the stretch of county road to my house and I thought I would run a 0-60 on my edge attitude. I put her in second, slip my clutch a little and hammer down. The truck doesn't lay rubber but starts to do a sort of hop like the diff is locking in and out, and then it seemed like it just popped out of gear before I could shift. As I let of and drive to the house the truck road really rough which seemed to come from the drive train. Is this normal with the limited slip diff or does this mean that my clutch is shot? Also I am thinking about sending in my juice for the hot upgrade so should I just get a new clutch anyway as I am still running the stock one.

Let try this a different way. You guys with NV5600, when you launch what gear do you do it in and is it a smooth launch. Also at what point will I know that it is definitely time for a new clutch and how accurate is the slip function on the edge attitude. Any input would be really appreciated.
