anything easy i can check

made an appointment to take it in but if i can check a relay or a fuse or something

the tranny is putting power to the ground and the tc locks up fine but i only have third gear and reverse

 

Any trouble codes??? That might help determine what threw it in limp mode if that is the case.

 

Does the tranny go into a limp mode of it's own? I thought only the engine did that.

I would check for codes as well and go from there.

 

checked codes, nothing tranny related

tranny is cooked i think

tc is definitely cooked, wouldn't engage at all this morning, had to be towed into dodge,

the initial diagnosis includes tc and possible internal damage to tranny

won't know everything until tuesday or so

66k on the odo, doesn't look good for keeping a tranny in this thing
maybe i should have gotten the hand shaker

 

Same problem for me.
