was driving and it felt like i had no throttle response for a brief sec. thought nothing of it until it happened a few more times.
couple days of not driving it happened again but this time engine light came on and had no throttle response until i shut her down and restarted. had codes 2121 and 2122. TPS and APPS sensor problem. limped her to mechanic and he took her for a 2 hr drive with scanner on it, and no problems at all. he erased codes and i drove the 5 hrs home with no problems.
what gives. mechanic says it would likley be apps sensor at a cost of 700 but suggested not doing it as he had no problems.
what can i check myself or what do you suggest as i need my truck to get an hr each wway to work. thanks
