My truck is a 98.5, i went to do the apps reset to see if it helped with the dead pedal and the poor fuel mileage. when i was finally able to get that **** black plastic cover off of the to of the ip i found the linkage is mechanical while i thought that it was electronic, is this coreect can i rule out the apps and tps as part of the dead pedal problem

 

No the throttle is electronic. The cable just connects your foot inputs to the sensor.


The TPS stands for Throttle Position Sensor.......Apps is a Dodge/Chrysler term for TPS.
