tow/haul button question

tow/haul button question

I have a 04.5 my tow/haul button just seems to just turn off the od.Does anyone know if i can get it flashed so the tow/haul mode will work?Or is the an aftermarket part for this?

You are correct on the 04.5 the tow/haul does nothing but lock out OD. I don't think there is any way to change it.

There are after market trans/tc controllers, just don't know if they will do what you want.

i have the same problem, the Tow/haul button does not work they way it is suppose to be. So i installed a TQ lockup switch. its a pain to flip a switch every time you want to lock up the TQ but you get use to it.

Nope, that flash is for the 05's to make the TH an OD off button instead of just changing the shift pattern.

The 04.5 ECU doe snot have the space to add any of the extra features of the newer trucks, and if it did, they would not add it anyway.

Most of us want the OD off feature as without it towing is a challenge.
