Torque converter or tranny pump?

Hey guys its been awhile. The 94 3500 dually quit moving on me a few months back. So I parked it and started driving some of my other vehicles. To be honest I really miss the truck and think I had better think about getting it going again. It just acts like there is now tranny fluid in it. Plenty of engine just no go. Im thinking it is probaly a torque converter but wa wondering if possibly could be tranny pump? Is there anyway to ops check it before tearing into it?

Check the level of the transmission fluid before starting it. Start it and put it in neutral, check the level again. If the level drops, the pump is pumping.
