Tire/Wheel size

getting ready for tires, I bought some hummer wheels a while back (3 years) un machined. I may go a different route. I lowered my truck in the rear to get a better 5 er hitch. I want something different but would rather not rasie the truc a bunch. What set ups will fill the well a little more and thus what do they raise the whole truck then?

I would like pics if you have em too sonnenburg4@hotmail.com

As far as tires for a stock wheel, I'd stick with something at 295 or smaller width. Really wide tires like 305 and 315 do better on wider rims.

For towing I like the E rated rubber.

For filling in those wheel wells, you can go as big as 35" with minimal rubbing at the 35" z 12.5" size. If you could find an 11" wide 35" tire, it wouldn't rub. Some of us run 34" tires and they fill in pretty good.

The truck will be a bit taller with taller tires. The stock tires are around 32.5" I think.... so 35" will raise the truck 1 1/4" .
