Tire Jump While in 4H

Is it normal for the tires to "jump" or jerk whlie slowly turning in 4H?

The 4WD system doesn't have a center differential in the transfer case, so tires will scrub and/or hop should you try to turn on a hard surface. The tires just slip on gravel or any other soft surface, so it's not as noticeable.

That's why the operator's manual says not to use 4WD on hard surfaces.
